Tech giant Apple is set to launch a new colour option for its standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models, according to a recent tweet by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
The company will reportedly introduce a yellow colour model, almost a year after the launch of the green colour Apple iPhone 13.
The new yellow iPhone is expected to be identical to the one launched last year, apart from the colour. This move is aimed at boosting sales of the iPhone 14, which reportedly did not register a good initial response due to its similarities with the iPhone 13.
According to a report by MacRumors, Apple is planning a product briefing for the new yellow iPhone on March 7, ahead of its official launch on March 8.
This launch date coincides with the launch of the green-coloured iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini last year. The company also launched the iPhone 13 Pro in Alpine Green colour option on the same day.
This is not the first time that Apple has launched a new colour option for its iPhones. Last year, the company introduced a purple colour option for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini.
The launch of the new yellow colour iPhone is expected to be announced via a press release on the occasion of Holi. Apple fans are eagerly waiting for the launch of the new colour option, which is expected to be a hit among consumers.
